Basic Salary £33,000-£38,000 dependant on experience plus benefits

My client a well-established and reputable membership body is currently looking for a DBS Manager.

Running the associations DBS service on behalf of its members.

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties

Disclosure and Barring Services

To ensure that the Association meets the stringent requirements of the DBS and adheres to the governing Codes of Practice.

To ensure that the Disclosure Service provides a range of services which meet the service requirements of the Associations Members and enhances commercial opportunities.

To provide an advisory service on Disclosure matters to members of the Association and to represent the Association as required by the Membership and Corporate Services Director.

To ensure financial systems reflect the Associations needs and are accurate.

Prepare Management statistics as required.

Assist and respond to Government Consultations.

Ensure that administration charges remain competitive.

Identify competitor's charges and services and be instrumental in pro-active ideas.

Be lead signatory for the Association and undertake all responsibilities attached to the status.

To have effective liaison with all disclosure statutory bodies including the Home Office.

Ensure that the IT consultant is notified when required for the secure computer processing system to be updated on a timely basis with Home Office issued, Key File Passwords and Connection Passwords to maintain continuity of processing.

Workforce Development Fund
Ensure that as many employers as possible can benefit from WDF funding for eligible training and qualifications.

Effectively manage the funding allocation to ensure that funding conditions are met and fairness between applicants can be evidenced.

Maintain accurate records in line with expectations imposed.
