Belgravia Healthcare are working with a renowned private hospital at a pivotal stage of their growth. Established for over 40 years in Banbury, they've provided exceptional care to thousands across the region. With expansion plans underway, they are now seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join them.
Responsibilities:
Assist the theatre team in delivering top-notch patient care, ensuring safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, promoting excellence to clients and customers.
Prepare areas before procedures, ensuring equipment safety.
Aid in assembling and preparing surgical equipment and instruments.
Monitor patient status and assist in their transfer and positioning.
Support the Scrub Practitioner in various tasks during procedures.
Maintain clear communication with the team and handle administrative duties.
Monitor and replenish department supplies, ensuring cleanliness and infection control.
Adhere to infection prevention policies and maintain best practices.
Requirements:
Operating theatre experience preferred.
NVQ Level 2 qualification or willingness to train.
Reliable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Interpersonal skills and commitment to continuous learning.
Proficiency in computer literacy.
