The post hold will beresponsible for implementing and maintaining radiation safety for thedepartment and will be required to work closely with the radiation protectionadvisors and the radiology radiation protection panel. They must be able todemonstrate initiative and prioritise a complex workload whilst working both asa autonomous and practitioner and as part of a team.
Youwill be responsible for providing providea high quality MR service to all patients at Manchester University HospitalsNHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
undertakeradiographic duties in any of the MR scanners at MFT, ensuring high standardsof radiographic quality and patient care are maintained and delivered in atimely manner
Analyse complex tasks or situations requiringinterpretation or comparison of a range of options. Possess specialist skillsfor assessing acute and other patient conditions, adapting MR parameters tocomplex case
Ensure that patient examination and otherdetails are accurately recorded where available onto the Radiology computersystem in a timely manner so providing correct data on each case.
