We are looking for an Mental Health Lead to work alongside our Autism Lead to support one of our complex care packages.

You may be currently working in social care with experience in and knowledge of complex Mental Health. We work alongside the NHS teams in delivering services, helping people to live as independently as possible.

You will work directly with our clients and have a direct input/lead into support planning, and risk management.

To ensure the highest level of staff development, you will work alongside the staff team in the individuals' houses on a daily basis.


What does the role involve?


As the Mental Health Lead, you will manage your own case load, ensuring service users needs are being met to the highest standard and that people are able to lead fulfilling lives with freedom, choice and safety.


You will also spend time working alongside clients so you understand their needs and make sure they are being met.

You will also be part of our overnight on-call team between 11pm-7am. This is paid in addition at £5 per hour.


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Planning and coordinating the service for clients (including keeping care plans up to date)
  • Helping clients achieve outcomes
  • Ensuring clients are happy and content with the service
  • Responsible for promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of service users
  • Providing leadership to frontline care staff
  • Inducting and assessing new staff members to ensure they're compatible and have the skills and knowledge to work with your clients
  • Ability to adapt and address situations quickly

What qualifications and experience do you need?

  • Firstly, we are looking for a customerfocused person who has a commitment to quality of care while achieving business objectives
  • You will be able to plan, implement and assess ideas to improve the lives of our service users
  • Previous experience in the care sector is preferred.
  • Previous experience in complex Mental Health is essential as well as challenging behaviours

Salary:
£27,040.00-£27,420.00 per year
