The British Horse Society is the nation's largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise.
The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.We celebrate the diversity of our people and place a high value on creating an environment where everyone can bring their whole self to work.
You will be a member of the Society's growing Access Department, which works to preserve, protect and extend equestrian access throughout the UK to enable every horse rider and carriage driver to be able to ride/drive from their stable onto a safe network of off road paths.
You will coordinate Access activities primarily within BHS North & North West Region (Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Northumberland, County Durham, Cleveland and the Isle of Man), ensuring the delivery of defined access objectives in this region.
We are a voice for our industry, lobby at national level, engage with local communities, and work closely with partner organisations to ensure every equestrian has access to safe, off road routes today and in the future, and you will assist us to do this in the region.
This will be a home based position and will involve travel through the region and sometimes beyond as well as evening and weekend work.
The successful candidate will need to live in the region and must have access to a home office set up where broadband is available.
