We currently have a vacancy for a Passenger Information Assistant to join our Passenger Information Team
The Passenger Information Team create printed and digital information for passengers on street and online.

This can be anything from a customer notice for an upcoming bus service diversion, updating area network maps and guides to setting social media for bus service changes due to an event happening in West Yorkshire.

The Role:
Reporting into the Production Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and arranging production/distribution of customer friendly bus timetables, bus stop displays, network maps, area and site-specific public transport guides and Interchange information both digitally and printed.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all digital and printed information to ensure the provision of accurate and easytouse information across all passenger information outputs across the public transport network in West Yorkshire.

About You:

  • You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
  • Knowledge of area networks and bus services in West Yorkshire.
  • Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
  • Experience of creating coherent and accurate customer information to tight deadlines or working in the print industry.
  • Proof checking experience and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Whilst agile working is an option for most staff, there is an expectation that employees are able to attend the office in central Leeds as and when required.


Please note that whilst it is our policy to recruit at SP1 for all appointments, which is the salary stated above, each role includes career salary progression, with incremental increases applicable in most cases, on an annual basis.
