- You will work autonomously and be responsible for delivery on all aspects of cost management and reporting from inception to completion.

- Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
- Advise clients on preferred suite of contracts.
- Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process.
- Evaluating and reporting on tenders.
- Cost reporting and preparing cashflow forecast.
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
- Settling final accounts.
- Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Units activities.
- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.

- Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy.
- Strong experience of cost estimating and cost planning.
- Cohesive knowledge of construction methods.
- Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work
- Excellent problem, negotiating, finance and numeracy management skills.
- Strong IT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Cost X experience desirable (training will be provided).
- Degree Qualified.
- MRICS (or working towards) would be desirable.
