    • Travel Requirements during prototype build phases, UK based with some occasional UK-based supplier visits.
    The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Cologne (Germany).

    The position is critical and will be in the electrified transformation team supporting the launch of an exciting line of BEV architectures.

    Responsible for mitigating supplier related quality issues during launch phases of new vehicles and model year changes.


    • Working closely with supplier partners to ensure quality concerns are contained and resolved robustly in a tight timeframe.
    • Utilising agile working practices, you will work cross-functionally with our manufacturing and engineering teams, in addition to supplier partners to provide technical problem solving support and solutions to complex problems.
    • This will involve working in a "scrum" environment, demanding an engineer who is confident to lead ambiguous and multi-root causal projects.
    • Lead / support robust closure of all supplier quality related issues for all new model related programmes.
    • Assess & implement escalation for suppliers which have recorded significant / repeat quality issues during pre-build activities within plant.
    • Act as an integral squad member within the scrum to lead or proactively support cross-functional problem solving focusing on the supplier influence.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise supplier technical assistance influence and ensure alignment with purchasing processes and policy.
    Engineering degree or qualifications


    • Previous proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
    • Previous Experience working in the Automotive Manufacturing industry
    • An understanding of key automotive tools and techniques to include APQP, PPAP, 8D, Practical Problem Solving, Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.
    • Understanding of automotive quality processes procedure
    • Scrum master / experience as a squad member
    • An individual who is able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.
    • Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
