    Description

    An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional brain injury rehabilitation service based in the Ardleigh, Colchester area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

    This service specialises in the assessment, care and treatment of adult residents (18+ years) with an acquired brain injury

    **To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

    As a Nurse your key duties include:

    • Providing a high standard of care to people with an acquired brain injury
    • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise the individual rehabilitation programmes in place
    • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
    • Developing, implementing and evaluating clinical care plans
    • At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

    The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

    • The ability to assess and teach junior staff
    • A proven ability to co-ordinate care, prioritise tasks and manage Health & Safety issues
    • The drive to learn and develop
    • A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
    • A flexible, positive, team-orientated approach

    The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £31,560 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
