    Description
    this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.
    We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Engineering Manager to join our growing ID&V team. Define and implement the architecture for our ID&V platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
    Provide mentorship and coaching, helping team members grow their technical and leadership capabilities.
    Champion clear communication between engineering and other teams (product, design, security) to deliver exceptional user experiences.
    represent the needs of the platform in terms of data quality and robustness of our ID&V processes.
    Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
    Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building secure and scalable applications.
    Proven experience leading and motivating high-performing engineering teams.
    Passion for building products that solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences.
    Strong coding skills and a desire to stay technically engaged.


    Bonus Points:
    Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
    Experience in a cloud-native environment (AWS).
