About the Role

***This is an immensely exciting opportunity to join the FERRIQ project team based in the Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick as a Research Assistant. The FERRIQ project has received funding from The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of its "Future blood testing for inclusive monitoring and personalised analytics Network+". The collaborative project is led by University of Warwick and involves experts at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.


The post holder will work with Dr Fayyaz Minhas and their team developing AI tools for prediction of disease trajectories of patients with genetic iron overload and provide data-driven insights for clinical decision support.


About You

***You will have a 2:1 Honours Degree and a MSc in Computer Science or a closely related discipline and ability to initiate and perform research in line with identified requirements.

You will work to tight deadlines, developing your research profile and producing high quality research outputs.


You will be able to produce quality research outputs on statistical methods, time-series analysis, datamining and visualization, causal inference, deep learning, big data management and machine learning.
