Description
LDD, part of Acteon Group, is a marine and subsea foundation specialist.

Using our extensive in-field experience, we design, engineer, build and operate world class pile-installation, lifting equipment and drilling equipment to deliver tubular foundations of any size, in any geology, anywhere.


LDD are looking to add Offshore Supervisors to their UK based team on a full time, permanent basis, but we are also flexible to accommodate part-time contracts.

The Offshore Supervisor is responsible for delivering & providing LDD business onsite service and support.

The Offshore Supervisor will bring a dynamic, hands-on approach; working as part of a supportive team, they will be able to hit the ground running, with a commitment to always uphold our standards of safety and quality.


The Offshore Supervisor will have the desire and willingness to work flexibly offshore and in return there will be excellent training and development opportunities with LDD and the wider Acteon Group.


Duties

  • Ensure that work is carried out to the highest standard in accordance with the QHSE requirements of LDD, the Acteon Group and our clients. Champion and proactive towards a safe and effective working environment.
  • Promote and consolidate a core work ethic and belief. Instil pride in LDD achievements and work practices.
  • Actively contributes towards the company management system.
  • Develop capability through others, ensure targets are met or surpassed.
  • Effective management of site team even when not in close proximity.
  • Employ a safe and controlled work attitude in yourself and others.
  • Undertake and develop all training and knowledge required.
  • Complete all operational reports and documentation to a high standard.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a site or sites consisting of two shifts.
  • Have full understanding of contracts with focus on both LDD and Client obligations under the contract.
  • Assist the Client with troubleshooting, promoting additional LDD services where applicable.
  • Provide feedback on site operatives and assist with individual capability development where improvement is required.
  • Communicate and report to line manager or Project Manager.
  • Ensure all reports are up to date, clear and legible.
  • Build positive working relationships with others within site teams
  • Commitment to continuous selfdevelopment undertaking and developing all training and knowledge required

Requirements:


  • Hands on technical experience gained from a position within the civil construction or engineering industry.
  • In possession of relevant qualifications and/or certification.
  • Experience of assembling operating, maintaining, and disassembling various site equipment.
  • Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms supported by good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of selfmotivation as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges.
  • Ability to promote best practice and QHSE compliance, raising standards through demonstration of own behaviours.
  • Ability to mobilise flexibly as required by the demands of the team.
