    Description

    We'll look to you and your expertise to ensure optimised and sustainable design solutions for our Distribution Network Operations (DNO), receiving the client's brief and formulating the scope of work and developing the design philosophy.

    You will be responsible for a range of specifications, calculations, reports, and drawings for key projects, and managing programmes to help drive innovation and sustainability while keeping safety as a priority.

    Ensure appropriate pre-construction information is coordinated
    # Prepare high-quality, efficient and well-reasoned designs
    # Prepare survey plans and spreadsheets to assist during the design stage
    # Analysing survey data

    A solid understanding of engineering principles and demonstrable experience in achieving value through innovation, plus excellent knowledge of CDM and computer literacy.

    Analysis skills and the ability to communicate clearly through sketching, drawing, presentations, and writing.
    A relevant engineering degree is essential, and a chartership or working towards one via IStructE, ICE, etc. Permanent and temporary works design experience is also required.
