- Perform reactive and proactive maintenance to high standards.
- Rapidly respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Efficiently conduct repairs during production.
- Execute proactive planned maintenance.
- Focus on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.
- Engage in machinery and site improvements.
- Manage engineering time effectively to optimise OEE.
- 3+ years of engineering experience.
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical/mechanical subject.
- Recognized engineering apprenticeship
- 17th or 18th Edition Certification.
- Experience in leading teams.
- Qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering.
- Strong electrical skills, preferably certified to the 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
- Familiarity with Food Safety, Food Hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Knowledge of Multivac lines is a plus, but training will be provided if necessary.
- Proactive approach to fault finding and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with initiative.
- Strong teamwork ethic.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and PPM systems.
- Ability to understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Logical, flexible, and decisive.
- Flexibility with start/finish times.
- Ability to work in varied temperature environments.
- Physical fitness for manual tasks.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
- Business travel may be required.
