£35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)

Summary of Position:


Our client, an independent family-run business of botanical experts, who specialises in the design, supply and installation of office plants and corporate flowers nationwide, is looking for a Field Service Manager to join their growing team.

The Field ServiceManager will be expected to manage a team of technicians and scheduler, working with their teams to ensure all maintenance rounds are completed on time and to a high standard.


The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Line Manage your team of technicians and scheduler, including recruitment, development, and retention of the team
  • Seek regular feedback from the Training & Quality Control Specialist
  • Manage all data and reporting for your team, including performance related tasks
  • Resolves client complaints for the team within 24/48 hours
  • Working alongside the Head of Service and other Service Managers to plan and agree future resourcing needs, including the use of subcontractors to deliver work if required
  • Responsible for client site master data management for your team
  • Demonstrable experience of excellent line management skills
  • Experience of scheduling work on a regular frequency
  • Experience using scheduling technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good IT Skills, including MS Office
  • Able to make decisions based on business priorities and customer expectations
  • Able to work under pressure to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Good understanding of the products and services the client offers in their region
  • Experience of resolving customer issues and complaints
  • Experience and knowledge of interior horticulture desirable
