Description
We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner with a proven track in the UK Road Freight industry.

Working on a 4 on 4 off basis the brief details of the role are:


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan allocated Vehicles/*Area(s)/*Shift(s).
  • Routing and scheduling of vehicles and drivers in the most cost effective manner and within time parameters set by customers.
  • Communicate all relevant information to drivers.
  • Track and trace trailers and trucks
  • Accurate input of data into traffic management system ensuring all required data fields are completed.
  • General office administration and house keeping.
  • Ensure that paperwork received from drivers is all present and correct and passed to the appropriate departments.
Minimum 2 years proven experience in a similar position

Good demonstrable geographic knowledge on the UK.
