_Berkeley Scott are recruiting talented Food Service Catering Assistants to work at multiple sites in Livingston and the wider Edinburgh areas_

£10.42-£11.50 hourly pay

The Role includes:

Delivering excellent customer service to all venue guests/staff
Preparation of food, paying key attention to any necessary dietary requirements
Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure that food is prepared/provided with smooth operation
Maintaining the general cleanliness/tidiness of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation areas are sanitised, contributing towards a safe environment for all staff and guests

The ideal Catering Assistant will have the following:

Hospitality experience (1 year required)
Previous experience in food preparation/food allergens is also desirable
Food Safety Qualification or the desire to undertake this qualification
Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
Excellent organisational skills
Able to use own initiative and be proactive in different scenarios
Enthusiastic about their quality of work
Ability to work at short notice as well as commit to long term assignments as they arise

We want to hear from All applicants with previous experience as a Food Service Assistant, including Cook, School Dinner Lady, Canteen Assistant, Catering Assistant, Waitress, Barista, General Catering Assistant, previous experience in a hospitality/customer service setting is also desirable.
