Role Summary
Reporting to the Group IT Director, this role will ensure the resilience and availability of the IT systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize company networks, physical infrastructure and cloud services
Oversee data backup strategies and DR plan testing
Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
Resolve issues escalated by support team
Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to data protection legislation and company policy
Assist with helpdesk functions and ensure SLAs are adhered to
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via helpdesk and documentation
Manage vendor relationships
Software asset management
Review and develop policies
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure
Knowledge of staying up to date with current technologies and industry trends
Advanced skills within problem solving and troubleshooting
Proven experience of successfully managing to completion, challenging projects
Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands on IT resources
Proven experience within cloud computing environments
Proven experience planning for disaster recovery and business continuity in relation to IT infrastructure
The ability to manage and develop team members

This role is full time and works within a Hybrid office environment, with a minimum of 50% time spent within the office
