- Lead the end-to-end design process for our SaaS products, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct user research, gather insights, and leverage data to inform design decisions and iterate on existing features to continuously improve the user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interaction flows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive and visually compelling designs.
- Champion design best practices, standards, and methodologies across the organization, and mentor junior designers to foster a culture of design excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Participate in design critiques, workshops, and cross-functional meetings to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in SaaS or similar product-based companies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Demonstrated experience leading design projects from conception to delivery, with a focus on user-centered design methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex design challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile development processes.
- Passion for user experience and a relentless pursuit of creating intuitive, delightful, and accessible products that meet the needs of our diverse user base.
