SEND Teaching Assistant required in Newport

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is available to work closely with class teachers to provide a high quality of education for a class of children.

You will mainly be tasked to work alongside a Year 4 pupil who has ASD and requires a SEND Teaching Assistant to working closely with him, to build a strong rapport and keep him on task during the day.

The student suffers from anxiety and requires a strong working relationship to be formed, for this longer term and ongoing position.

Experience of working in schools is desired, but not, essential.

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who has a real passion for working with students and wants to help make a difference and support this young boy's needs.

This role is due to start as soon as possible (to then possibly be extended).

1 longer term 1:1 position in a great school in Newport.
A supportive school environment
Experienced teaching professionals who can deliver training if required
A competitive pay rate of £80 £85 per day

School hours Monday

Friday (term time only)

To be eligible for this position, the SEND teaching Assistant would be required to have the following:

Proactive attitude
Good work ethic
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Provide references that can be contacted

If you have a friend who may be interested in joining us? We offer £75 for every Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant referral and £150 for every Supply Teacher referral (terms and conditions apply).
