Post: clinical fellow in GENERAL mEDICINE (7 Posts) WITH SPECIALTY INTEREST

base: ROYAL ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL

Applications are invited for the above posts based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic medical team at RAH. These clinical fellow posts will be based in Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Acute Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Rheumatology. Successful applicants will be invited to rank specialty in order of preference and will spend a period of 12 months within one of these specialties. There will be the opportunity to attend and support specialty clinics, learn relevant procedures and assess inpatient specialty referrals with supervision.

Ideally applicants would be either doctors with a broad general professional training including General Medicine or GP vocationally trained doctors who wish to gain further specialty experience.

Applications will be considered for part-time working or as a job share opportunity. There may be a requirement for out of hours working

This post holds educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean. If appointed as a Clinical Fellow this post will not be recognised for Training

To practice medicine in the you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice
