Network Engineer
Top opportunity to join an innovative and long established Network/UC provider who offer excellent vendor sponsored training packages.
You will be based from home with some on site responsibilities around the Midlands (expensed).

Role/Responsibilities
Configure, test, deploy and maintain LAN/WAN and WLAN equipment and related services.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems.
Deployment and use of management tools such as Extreme Netsight, Alcatel Omnivista, HP IMC and PRTG
Provide post-sales technical support.
Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration.
Obtain and maintain required certifications to sustain our partnership with key vendors.
RF surveys using Ekahau or Airmagnet
Hands-on experience or capability of implementing and administrating network devices and associated software.
Firewalls (Desirable).

Educated to Cisco CCNA or equivalent with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks and protocols.

WiFi technology configuration
Previous responsibility for providing customer support.
