The Opportunity


In this role, you will be working in the Classic division which is part of Special Operations and is actively developing a global proposition to offer cars, services, parts, accessories and experiences to enthusiasts of classic Jaguar and Land Rover products worldwide.

Classic will service the parts and accessory needs of all external JLR products 10 years out of production and support internal product activity.

There is a high level of internal demand to fulfil and a huge level of external retail customer demand across a number of sales channels, all looking for a genuine Classic parts and accessory product offer.

To fulfil these levels of demand and maximise sales opportunities across projects, products and sales channels, we are looking for an Operations Specialist who will be a key part of the Operations team responsible for the processes that are needed to support the introduction and successful sales of Classic specific parts and accessories - through current and yet to be developed sales channels

WHAT TO EXPECT.

  • A close integration with the main Aftersales team is vital to understand how to utilise their skills, platforms and processes whilst also identifying new versions where necessary to deliver a Classic specific solution which will operate to potentially different guidelines.
  • You will be working closely with Logistics providers to ensure operational and financial efficiencies are being delivered for both internal and external customers, you'll continue to deliver improvement initiatives across the entire operation.
  • There will also be a requirement to manage the Classic Parts ecommerce platform. You will be responsible for customer service enquiries, ecommerce operations and 3PL management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • You'll have previous, relevant experience of Supply Chain / Logistics preferably in an automotive context, alongside the capability to balance short term delivery with process improvement and strategy.
  • With strong analytical, influencing and negotiation skills you'll also have the ability to establish and develop close effective working relationships across departments.
  • The ability to deliver operational projects in support of business growth and to help realise new opportunities is essential.
  • Ability to deal with high volume of customer queries via ecommerce platforms
