Description
Responsible for scrutiny and regulatory committee meetings and ensure that meetings occur as timetabled

  • Undertaking servicing committees; including organisation, administration, handling confidential material and minute writing
  • Ensuring Councillors have uptodate information they require at committees to make decision on council policy
  • Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external to the council)
  • Provide advice and answers to and from councillors, officers and the general public
  • Respond efficiently to procedural questions during meetings or provide general information
  • Assist with local elections if required
