BUK Control Business Partner, Product
Northampton
As a Barclays BUK Control Business Partner, Product, you will be part of the BUK Front-Office Control Business Partner Team within first line of defense, which is accountable for ensuring effective control governance is maintained across key processes.
Your role would be a key point of contact for the CCO service provision and would work across the CCO community to support targeted control focused interventions to fix and/or simplify controls, along with providing robust, effective and insightful reporting to management.

What will you be doing?:
- Working in a way that is aligned fully to Barclays Values and Barclays Mindset
- Attending and inputing into key control fora, providing insight and challenge
- Providing input on completion of risk assessments including but not limited to Risk and Control Assessments (RCSA)
- Assisting with activity across CCO to support readacross, Lesson Learnt activity
- Helping with the review of coverage and control design effectiveness of the businessowned Controls library
What we're looking for:
- Working knowledge of Control Frameworks preferred, including Risk Event Policy, Issues Management and Control Library and Risk and Control Assessment Standards
- Proven practical experience of Risk and Control governance activities including scheduled Annual and Quarterly risk assessment
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Broad analytical, decision making and investigatory skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Proven experience of working with other Control and 3LoD teams to share ideas, best practices and ensure consistency of experience across Businesses and Risks
- Broad experience of working on the design and implementation of controls improvement or automation initiatives
- Excellent problem solving and high level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and to share best practice at all levels
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton.
Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid
