Finance Change Specialist


Location:
London (Hybrid)


Contract length: 6 months


Opportunity Overview:

Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Change Specialist to join a leading insurance firm in London.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office, offering great exposure into the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist FP&A Tech team in running projects for all business unit
  • Good understanding of finance systems e.g. Oracle, Essbase and Smartview
  • Technical finance knowledge of budget, forecast and as well capitalisations
  • Work with different senior stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solution with design thinking.
  • Prepares and delivers reports and presentations to advise management on financial analyses, results, and recommendations
  • Experienced project managements from requirements to implementation
  • Implements financial processes and systems to maximize the quality of financial reporting, analyses, budgeting, and forecasting

Skills/Experience Required:


  • 3 years plus Finance Change experience
  • Be able to navigate Power BI, Excel and large data
  • Insurance / reinsurance knowledge desirable but not necessary
  • Needs ability to work with people to seek information and resolution of issues, eg Confident to introduce themselves to people in the business, ask questions and follow a trail
  • Proactive and analytical individual
  • Be part of a sixperson finance team based in London
