Location - Stamford Bridge

Permanent Role

Hours - 40 hours per week (5 of 7 days)

What We're Looking For:


We are looking for someone to support the security department's investigative functions by researching and analysing an array of information from open source, social media and company software systems to identify specific threats to the Club's operations.

Someone with sound analytical skills together with knowledge and proven record of using a range of software systems. You should have the ability to interpret and use data sources with interest in analysis and excellent problem-solving skills. The role will require you to work both independently and contribute to the team with new insights and creativity.

You'll have experience in preparing evidential and factual based reports to the standards required in legal proceedings, as well as previous experience of CCTV systems and production of evidential CCTV.

With good written and verbal skills and a high administrative competence, focusing on our customers.

The role requires flexibility to adapt to operational requirements and an ability to work independently, as well as collaborate within a small team.

Brief description and duties:


  • Research and report on examples of activities which bring the Club into disrepute, including, but not limited to antisocial, abusive and discriminatory behaviour.
  • Support investigative functions including antitouting activities, breaches of ticketing terms and conditions and breaches of ground regulations,
  • To align with the club's equality, diversity and inclusion standards and outcomes by identifying discriminatory behaviour which breaches the club's membership, ticketing terms and conditions and ground regulations.
  • Support departmental investigations by utilising company software systems (Clue) to produce meaningful data.
  • Providing and interpreting detailed analysis and opensource intelligence products which can support ongoing investigations.
  • Track and research current fraud and ticket touting methodologies to advise future investigations.
  • Perform security research reviews on known and potential security vulnerabilities across the company.
  • Research and compile evidential material to support criminal and civil prosecutions and the club sanction policies.
  • Maintain and develop key partnerships and information sharing amongst other clubs and outside agencies.
  • Monitor trends in relation to online risks.
  • Utilise business tools to investigate and monitor trends in antisocial behaviour and breaches of the Club's terms and conditions.
  • Conduct security audits and reviews to identify gaps and vulnerabilities.
  • Use CCTV systems to assist investigations.
  • Maintain various indices and compile custom presentational products.
  • Support the match day ticket touting operations and security teams.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Keen eye for detail
