The Health Check Partnership Manager will be critical to the successful delivery of Reed Wellbeing's flagship Norfolk NHS Health Check Catch-Up Programme.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that the service generates the volume of referrals (including self-referrals ) required to meet our identified targets as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and expectedby the commissioners.


This Role

The Partnership Manager is responsible for:

  • Identifying and proactively seeking referral opportunities, particularly from primary care and workplaces
  • Assisting the Service Manager with planning and implementing an engagement strategy to promote and grow the NHS Health Checks Service
  • Finding, assessing and booking health check venues
  • Supporting Health Check Practitioners to promote the service effectively

What are we looking for?

Essential Attainments:


  • Excellent telephone manner, persuasive and friendly, with a track record of success in achieving results from initial telephone contact.
  • Ability to positively sell the features and benefits of a programme in an engaging manner to multiple audiences both on a one to one and formal large scale presentation basis.

Desirable Attainments:


  • Previous experience of working in a highly targeted results driven role.
  • Competent Excel and Power BI skills, with the demonstrated capability to understand, monitor and analyse data.

Essential Criteria:


  • Good communication and relationship building skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with people at all levels, both informally and in formal presentation settings, building longterm productive relationships.
  • Good research skills, with demonstrated ability to think innovatively, suggest and implement improvements to get the best results.
  • Positive attitude and friendly yet professional approach, with demonstrated ability to coach and inspire team members
  • Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills with the capacity to communicate effectively at required levels.
  • Proactive and tenacious approach determined to see through task in hand.
  • Selfstarter, able to work proactively and effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Organised and methodical with attention to capturing detail.
  • Analytical thinker, able to think strategically and compile and analyse data sets.
  • Team player, willing to work flexibly to achieve the goals of the programme.
  • Able to travel extensively across the contract area.

Desirable Criteria:


  • Experience planning and delivering outreach in communities.
  • Experience in health promotion and delivering clinical services.
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Experience of sourcing, booking, and maintaining relationships with external venues.
