We have an exciting opportunity to join Ilfracombe Infant and Nursery School's teaching support team from 1st September 2024.

We aim to be a school where all pupils can achieve as well as they can, they can grow and develop intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually within a family atmosphere in which education is the joint responsibility of pupils, parents, carers and staff.

We promote an ethos of respect for ourselves, others and the environment. Our aim is that children care about each other and others from different backgrounds.

If you love to be involved in learning and build skills through a variety of ways, including hands on, real-life learning and are a lifetime learner we want to hear from you.

You will primarily be working on a 1:1 basis to support a child. The post is temporary for the duration of the child's attendance at this school and/or continuing level of need. It is a requirement of the role to be competent in British Sign Language or willing to learn British Sign Language. Training in British Sign Language will be provided for the successful candidate where necessary. This post may also include a limited amount of small group and general classroom support. Based at Ilfracombe Infant and Nursery School you will be working Monday to Friday from am until can offer the opportunity to work in a thriving school alongside a dedicated hard working team with opportunities for professional development.
