    Description

    Job Title: Physiotherapist (Locum)

    Locations: We currently have opportunities across a few different regions including London, Cambridge, Luton and more.

    Summary: We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals with a wide range of physical conditions and disabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or movement dysfunctions arising from various medical conditions, injuries, or surgical procedures.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
    • Utilize a range of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and other modalities, to promote healing, restore function, and improve quality of life.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
    • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programs.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional standards and legal requirements.
    • Participate in regular clinical supervision, professional development activities, and continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy service standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Supervise junior physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, and students as required.
    • Facilitate effective discharge planning by assessing patients' functional abilities, providing recommendations for ongoing care, and coordinating with community services as needed.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
    • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
    • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant clinical setting.
    • Excellent knowledge of physiotherapy principles, practices, and techniques.
    • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
    • Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
