    At Cavendish Nuclear, we are dedicated to building a safer and more secure world, and by joining our team, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact as an Electrical Project Engineer at Heysham Power Station in Lancashire.

    About the Role

    Join us as an Electrical Project Engineer for a unique and exciting position. Your responsibilities will include managing project work from start to finish to support the Heysham 1 site, requiring close collaboration with clients, team members, and partners.

    On a daily basis, you will focus on enhancing Equipment Reliability across Fuel Route by implementing modifications, optimizing maintenance routines, and resolving defects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely oversee the delivery of assigned projects, tasks, and jobs while working closely with team members and station personnel.
    • Create essential documentation such as Work Order Cards, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Quality Plans to ensure project delivery.
    • Maintain and track documentation, including drawings and records, updating and closing them out efficiently at the project's completion.
    • Conduct walk-downs with contractors to review upcoming tasks and obtain necessary quotes.
    • Review and approve contractor documents before allowing them to work on-site.
    • Regularly conduct safety walks and promptly report any concerns through the appropriate channels.
    • Visit suppliers for factory acceptance tests and other EDF sites to gather valuable insights for specific projects.

    This is a full-time, permanent position based at the Heysham Power Station in Lancashire.

    Essential Experience:

    • Prior experience in electrical project engineering.
