IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR :
Pharmacist; Associate Director of Pharmacy
As part of a dynamic team at Charles River Community Health (CRCH), ahealthcare practice providing compassionate care to underserved communities, the Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Intern – Per Diem will play a key role to assist the pharmacy team in the preparation, billing, and dispensing of prescription and OTC medications to Charles River Community Health Pharmacy patients.
CRCH Pharmacies are on-site pharmacies that are designed to provide exceptional outpatient pharmacy services to CRCH and community patients.Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining productivity as well as regulatory and quality standards.
Maintain patient records and prescription information using a pharmacy computer system.Answer telephone calls in a timely, professional manner.
Active MA Pharmacy Technician Registration, or MA Pharmacy Intern license.
Must be flexible and be able to work different schedules to meet the needs of the pharmacy and organization
(Pharmacy Department Hours:
9am-7pm Mon, Tues, Thurs. 9am-5pm Wed & Fri, and 9am-1pm Saturdays)
Demonstrate competent working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication.
Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed by passing the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam or Current MA Pharmacy Intern Registration.
Prior recent experience (1-2yrs) in a retail community setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Ability to travel to Waltham & Brighton locations in accordance with staffing needs
