Your Role

A multi-skilled supervisory role in which the incumbent will be required to lead and supervise the Site Operative team across all areas of the site.

The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all site operations are carried out efficiently and within company guidelines for legal, Safety & Health and site specific requirements.

The Position will report directly to the Production Manager.
Your Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Manager in planning and prioritising work while ensuring that adequate resources are available at all times.
  • Managing the site operative shift pattern and planning holiday cover etc.
  • Supervise ,support & mentor members of the Site Operative team in their daily roles and future development plans & goals.
  • Ensure all operational KPIs and performance targets are achieved.
  • Liaise with the Site Technical Manager to ensure that all site hygiene requirements are achieved.
  • Liaise with the Site Safety Coordinator to ensure full compliance around company & legal safety requirements.
  • To build a strong personal development plan across departmental requirements to increase performance excellence across the site.
  • To work towards the full NABIM certificate, relevant formal qualifications in Safety & Health and HCCP level 3 in Food safety.

Your Profile

  • An effective team member at all site levels.
  • Effective oral and written communication within all site functions.
  • Problem solving abilities to analyse situations objectively and reach logical solutions.
  • A milling qualification (and/or willingness to work towards NABIM).
  • Computer Literate.
  • Experience in People Management (Desirable).
