Philanthropy Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser / Major Donor Fundraising Officer who is a passionate and exceptional fundraiser with experience of working with trusts or major donors, with exceptional written communication skills is required for a well-established charity based in Rugby, Warwickshire, West Midlands.


SALARY:
£28,187 - £29,373 per annum + Benefits


LOCATION:
Rugby, Warwickshire, West Midlands


JOB TYPE:
Full-Time, Permanent


WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week - occasional travel may be required

JOB OVERVIEW


The organisation is seeking a highly motivated, resilient and driven Philanthropy Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser / Major Donor Fundraising Officer who is a passionate and exceptional fundraiser with experience of working with trusts or major donors, with exceptional written communication skills.


As the Philanthropy Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser / Major Donor Fundraising Officer you will manage and develop a portfolio of high-value supporters and prospects made up of trusts, companies and individual donors.

You will also oversee the development and delivery of the organisation's Small Trust Programme, which generates vital unrestricted funding via a regular appeal.


The Philanthropy Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser / Major Donor Fundraising Officer will also support the wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team with donor research, proposal development, stewardship and relationship management as well as liaison with colleagues in the UK and international offices.


ABOUT YOU


As the Philanthropy Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser / Major Donor Fundraising Officer you will have good knowledge and understanding of fundraising from trusts, foundations and major donors built on a solid comprehension of fundraising principles and legal requirements.


The ability to build relationships with people at all levels is also key to this role informed by excellent research and prospecting skills and underpinned by experience of Microsoft Office and CRM databases, preferably Raiser's Edge.
