The Credit Control Job
This new Credit Control role within the Finance team aims to establish a more structured and consistent credit control process. As part of a business providing end-to-end services from design to maintenance and repair, managing the accounts receivable ledger requires a tailored approach for various customers to ensure timely payments without compromising relationships. Adapting processes according to customer types is essential for success.
The role involves managing and enhancing the credit policy to boost sales and cash flow while minimizing bad debt. Tasks include conducting credit checks, maintaining relationships with reference agencies, tracking customer communication diligently, and addressing any concerns promptly. Issuing sales invoices accurately and on time demands meticulous attention and organizational skills, as well as handling receipt posting, allocation, and reconciliation.
What is required:
Salary is negotiable based on experience, capped at £35k per annum for full-time equivalent, pro rata. The role involves reduced hours (25-30), with flexible working arrangements, ideally across 4 days, including an option for one day remote work once fully settled.
