    Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Commis Chef to join the team at The Metropole Hotel, Torquay

    Commis Chef working hours:


    As a Commis Chef you will work hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with Live In accommodation available, with an hourly rate of £13.

    Commis Chef:

    As a Commis Chef you will assist with all aspects of the kitchen operation from the preparation, cooking and serving of the food to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times including stock rotation, labelling and cleaning of equipment as required.

    You will work closely with the Head and Second Chefs; making this an ideal opportunity for any candidates looking to progress their career in the kitchen.

    Essential Skills:Experience in a similar role-passionate and enthusiastic individual who enjoys the art of cookeryStrong communication skillsUnderstanding of all aspects related to food safety regulationsAbility to learn new skills quicklyAbility to work under the pressure of a busy kitchen whilst maintaining attention to detailPositive can-do attitude and being a team player

    Desirable Skills:
