We are currently looking for a Vehicles Administrator to join our Warehouse and Inventory Group team in Aberdeen.

The main purpose of the role is to control and regiment vehicles operational and reporting activities.

Main responsibilities

  • Construct a daily and weekly driver's utilisation plan with the Warehouse group.
  • Construct a routine maintenance schedule for vehicles and ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance the routine maintenance schedule.
  • Control scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities by liaising with repair agents for maintenance issues, managing and scrutinising subsequent diagnosis, repair time and costs to minimise vehicles unavailability.
  • Control fuel arrangement and cost for vehicles.
  • Control vehicles purchase, lease and maintenance records.
  • Create and implement practices for improving the control and reporting activities plus a savings plan to reduce the costs' structure.
  • Produce periodic reports for the line management for usage, maintenance, and fuel and customer deliveries information.
HSEQ responsibilities

  • It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with the Company's HSEQ Policy and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Sparrows Integrated Management System. The incumbent must report any incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to their Line Manager.
  • The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under countryspecific health and safety legislation to follow all Company processes and procedures and familiarise themselves with the emergency response arrangements applicable to them. The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
Qualifications and experience

  • Previous vehicles management experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of vehicles control systems
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
