    Senior Civil and Structural Engineer - Nuclear

    Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an independent civil and structural engineering consultancy working primarily in the nuclear sector to recruit a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer for its Whitehaven, Cumbria site.

    The Senior Civil and Structural Engineer role comes with a salary up to 55,000, enhanced pension and flexible working.

    As the Senior Civil and Structural Engineer you will:

    Be responsible for a variety of project detailed and construction designs.
    Carry out assessment on concrete and steel structures.
    Have experience using software such as STAAD or TEDDS for analysis and design purposes.
    A degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
    A background in Engineering design within an industrial environment
    Experience in the design AND assessment of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
    The Senior Civil and Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:

    Able to communicate with others to resolve issues and effectively discuss project requirements.
