    £50,000-£60,000

    Location:
    Whitehaven

    Hours of work:
    Up to 40 hours per week
    Applicants must have experience of the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
    • Minimum 10 years experience in engineering design
    • Highly regulated industry experience
    • Experience working in complex projects

    Ideally applicants should also have:

    • Chartership status

    Role information:

    • Act as technical lead for teams carrying out detailed construction designs for multidisciplined projects
    • Check and approve technical documentation including calculations, CDM activities and reports
    • Guide and mentor junior engineers
    • Carry out structural assessments of existing structures including concrete and steel
