    Cyber Security


    As a member of the Cyber Security Operation Centre Monitoring and Response team you will play a vital role in responding to security threats on BT and commercial networks across the globe.

    5 (24/7 shift role, shift pattern 2 days/2 nights, 4 off).

    Responsible for managing and coaching several people within a small shift team.

    Monitor, analyse and defend against malicious or unusual activity that could be indicative of a security incident or compromise.

    Writing and reviewing processes/documentation.
    Analysis and recommendations of any determined cyber threats to BT and our commercial customers.
    Work across the organisation, typically with incident response teams to ensure security issues are addressed quickly upon discovery.
    Quality Checks.

    Have a broad knowledge of multiple systems and process and be able to flex between BT and commercial customers.

    Working in a 24x7 Cyber Security Operations Centre (CySOC).
    Possess a recognised formal qualification in Cyber Security.
    Must achieve and maintain Security Clearance.
    Have experience working within a Cyber Security Operations Centre.
    Have experience of continuous improvement or transformation projects.
    Have CompTIA Network+, Security+, CSA+, SSCP or equivalent qualification.
    Have knowledge and hands on experience of IP networks and their key components.
