Flexible role with no work from home?I just read a job ad for a Graphic Designer that said:"We are looking for an experienced self-reliant, creative and accountable go-getter senior graphic designer to join our studio withflexible working arrangements (no work from home) ... [...]"Pretty funny having "flexible working arrangements" and "no work from home" in one sentence, especially for a role that can be done from anywhere. I believe that in the future less and less creatives will settle for a 5 day a week on-site role, with 0 flexibility in terms of work location. Especially experienced, self-reliant, creative and accountable go-getters (as requested in the ad) will look elsewhere...How long will it take until companies like this one wake up to the new realities and ways of working?

Exactly I should technically be at a Senior Graphic designer role. But in the four years I was out of a job, I couldnt get one because of requirements like this. ESPECIALLY in regards to UX design and Web Design. They are vastly different than graphic design.They take a skill that I do not have. It's not my specialty. I excel at Brand identity, digital documents, visual graphics. And accessibility for those with special needs. 10000% this. Digital marketing right now is also being a jack of all trades, but everyone has to have an expertise (you don't want to be a master of none). For success, the team must work together, listen, and learn more from those who have different proficiencies and perspectives. This is how you build a wholistic campaign (design, etc.). Companies want less people to do more work. This may save on salary, but in the end they will suffer losses from people's inability to focus and excel in exchange for just getting things done. Less payroll does not = more revenue.
