    About the Role:
    This is a significant investment project that will includethe design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of the new units.

    The upgrade will include the replacement of the turbines,generators, and Main Inlet Valves during planned outages.

    You'll be managing outages on this critical plant while othergenerating units are operational.

    The role will also play a critical partin the Drax growth strategy that will involve a number of internal and externalstakeholders.

    Critically, you'll be ensuring that the culture on theproject delivery is Best in Class, and you'll develop and manage the CAPEXproject budgets to secure the resources necessary to achieve the projectobjectives.

    Delivery is everything and you'll ensure that the technicalperformance of the contractors is of the highest level, to ensure that the newunits meet the performance requirements specified.


    About you

    Essentially, you'll hold a Degree in a relevant subject suchas Engineering/Law/Quantity Surveying or equivalent large Programme Managementexperience, as well as a Project Management qualification including membershipof the Association of Project Management (or equivalent).


    You'll demonstrate your fantastic experience of developingstrong relationships with Contractors and internal customers to manage therequirements of both. We want your proven track record of delivering successfulresults in a complex, multi-disciplinary projects to shine
