    Veterinary Surgeon - Oxfordshire

Purovets invites you to be part of a dynamic team at our client's Tier 3 RCVS accredited small animal hospital nestled in the charming landscapes of Oxfordshire. With over 60 years of dedicated animal care, our client has earned an esteemed reputation in the local community. Their picturesque market town location offers not only a serene work environment but also abundant opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, hiking, golfing, and swimming. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in medicine to join their expanding team. The role will include assisting with the organising and running of their Radioactive Iodine Unit, carrying out routine consultations, operating and diagnostics. As their hospital continues to grow, this is an exciting time to become part of their journey. You will be working alongside a fantastic team comprising 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Registered Nurses, and 5 Animal Nursing Assistants. Their purpose-built hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a DR X-ray system, Dental X-ray, a 64-slice CT scanner, a wide range of endoscopes, ultrasound with colour Doppler, Orthopaedic equipment, slit lamp, tonometer, and more. With specialists in Zoo & Wildlife Medicine, Small Animal Medicine, and ECC, as well as regular visits from referral dermatologists, you will have ample opportunities for professional growth and collaboration. In addition to their advanced medical facilities, our client has been awarded Gold Status by the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic and is Gold Standard recognised by the Rabbit Friendly Clinic.     The Rota:

    • Full Time role - 4 day week (8.30am - 7pm)
    • 1:5 Saturdays (8.30am - 2pm)
    • 1 in >10 on call
    • Flexible working patterns available
