Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly progressive firm of chartered accountants in Norwich who are now looking to add an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to their growing team.
The successful person will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing and completing accounts for audit exempt limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax computations. You will also be involved in the preparation of management accounts, the completion of bookkeeping work as well as the preparation of VAT returns.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join a well-renowned firm where you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and where there will be genuine scope for career development and progression.
The ideal candidate will have had a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT Qualified or may be working towards their ACCA or ACA qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns
Preparation of personal tax returns
Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Liaising with clients to resolve queries
Communication with HMRC in relation to client taxation matters
Assisting managers and partners with other client related tasks
Skills:
AAT Qualified or ACCA Student / Part Qualified
Experience of preparing limited company accounts is essential
Experience of working in practice is essential
