Description

The Solutions Architect - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) directly interfaces with our customers and partners to deliver Workiva solutions (particularly GRC solutions - audit, risk, controls and compliance) that help achieve successful customer outcomes. This role also contributes to customer documentation, continued learning, and enablement for internal resources, customers and partners.

The Solutions Architect works closely with other internal teams cross functionally including project management, customer success, support, solution engineering, and product development to deliver outstanding customer implementations across Europe.

What You'll Do

Leads the delivery of Workiva solutions contracted services to customers and partners

Performs detailed discovery sessions to understand business needs and requirements

Creates a solution design that achieves outcomes within the Workiva platform

Directly interfaces with customers and partners to deliver standardized solutions

Maintains and enhances knowledge of financial, risk, or operational reporting using the Workiva platform through a commitment to ongoing training

Participates in ongoing internal and customer training efforts.

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

4+ years of experience in service delivery role, finance, accounting, audit, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge with GRC platforms or related subject matter - audit, risk, controls, compliance, IT risk - and their related technology platforms

Hands on experience within SaaS and cloud technologies, or data architectures preferred.

Experience working within a consulting or public accounting firm preferred

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly

Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement

Ability to influence and drive change in business processes

A strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the ability to manage multiple services.

Enhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications.

Familiarity with any of the following: SQL, JSON, REST, or Python is a plus

Demonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationships

Working Conditions

Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

Up to 25% travel
