Who We Are Looking For


IMG Replay are looking for an experienced Sales Director to provide a best in class service to IMG Replay's prestigious client, the Premier League (PL).

To license archive content (footage and programming) with a specific emphasis on Premier League (PL) to EMEA based licensees.

Someone who is aiming to exceed all internal individual sales targets and any agreed external sales targets with the PL.

To work collaboratively internally with Premier League Productions (PLP) with all archive budgets and forecasting and to be an active, integral part of the Replay Management Team (RMT).

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Part of the Replay Management Team (RMT), the Sales Director will be expected to influence IMG Replay's growth and profitability beyond just the Replay football portfolio.
  • Managing the IMG Replay current football portfolio
  • Primary focus to remain on the Premier League Archive and managing the daytoday relationship between IMG Replay and the Premier League.
  • To negotiate, agree and conclude archive content licensing deals maximising all license fees, with each deal being individually preagreed by each rights holder.
  • Aim to exceed all individual external client projections as well as the Sales Directors individual internal annual sales projections. All to be preagreed with VP, IMG Replay in advance.
  • Continue to nurture, build and develop relationships with key customers/licensees from but not limited to; Broadcasters, Production Companies, Advertising Agencies, Corporate Clients and Digital Platforms.
  • Provide a professional, best in class sales experience for all customers during every negotiation.
  • Strategically review and monitor buying habits/trends in the market place and provide feedback to the Replay Management Team (RMT).
  • Working closely with the Digital Content Executives to ensure customers/licensees receive their licensed content quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all customers receive their electronic paperwork (contracts and invoices) in a timely manner and aiming for all invoices to be paid by no later than 90 days from their due date.
  • Work closely with the IMG Media marketing teams and the Premier League to agree an annual Premier League Archive marketing plan/budget. Ensure it is accurately delivered.
  • Work closely with PLP Finance to ensure all archive sales are reported accurately to the Premier League. Also, all Premier League Archive costs remain within preagreed PLP budgets.
  • Ensure the Digital Content Executives are working closely with the IMG Studios Library team, so all Premier League current season/term is uploaded to
by the agreed timescales, ensuring sales can be fulfilled as quickly as possible.

  • To be a leading part of the internal IMG team during this current term (up to May 2025) responsible for renegotiating the Premier League Archive contract for the new term covering 2025/26, 2026/27 & 2027/28/
  • Coordinate with Replay Sales Executives in IMG Replay's satellite offices including; New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Also, assist all IMG Media executives around the world on all inbound football archive enquiries.
  • Retain an awareness of IMG Replay's competition to assist in enhancing IMG Replay's global position.
  • Responsible for raising the profile of IMG Replay both internally and externally.
  • A shared vision to help drive/take IMG Replay to "the next level" in everything Replay does.
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties relating to other federations, which are within the scope and purpose of the role.
You Will Have The Following Strength

  • Extensive years' of experience in the Media Sales industry.
  • Demonstrable/established experience in the archive video sales industry.
  • Must have an extensive knowledge and interest in Premier League football.
