Description

Our client are a leading privately owned beverage processing and distribution business.

Owing to expansion of the group and the desire for greater internal legal support, a position has been created for an in-house solicitor to work closely with the Board.

It is preferred that applicants are commercially biased but have some experience in handlingminor civil / employment matters.

Core duties will include:_

Supporting the business on disputes, M&A and other corporate activity as required
Work with an external law firm and outside counsel to address more complex commercial matters
Supporting the procurement and supply chain functions on contract drafting and negotiation.
Support the HR team in addressing employment disputes (including claims and settlement agreements)
Dealing with tenancy disputes and arrears
Overseeing customer debt escalations that require legal intervention
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements.
Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.

The role will likely allow 4 days per week to be worked from home.
