- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships
- Developing a deep understanding of the wide range of products and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and product developments
- Sharing your knowledge and expertise with customers to help them make informed choices
- Assisting customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently on the system and liaising with the warehouse team
- Collaborating with the teams in sales and the warehouse to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business and assisting in the warehouse when needed
- Proactively engaging with existing and potential customers to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Nurturing relationships with key clients and maintaining regular contact to understand their evolving needs
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably selling on the telephone
- Knowledge of hardware products, power tools, industrial equipment, or construction supplies is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to engage and build rapport with customers, understanding their requirements and effectively conveying product information
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Results-oriented with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Comfortable with sales processes and techniques, actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced sales environment
