If so, I am keen to hear from youMy client, a leading multinational defence company, are currently seeking a "Senior Initial Airworthiness Engineer "to join the business in a permanent capacity.
The role can be based out of my clients secure sites in either Prestwick, Scotland or Warton, Lancashire - with the requirement to attend your chosen base site approx.
2-3 days a week.Due to the nature of my clients work, candidates must either hold a live SC Clearance or be willing and able to undergo the clearance process.
What you'll be doing:
airworthiness assurance activity of design certification (qualification and safety) evidence in support of airworthiness certification for Development, Production and Export clearance programmesfocal point for agreeing flight limitations with System Design Responsibility teams, Flight Operations and the external customersand producing Flight Certification (Military Permit to Fly) for Development and Production Aircraftand producing Flight Certification (Release to Service) for Export Customersairworthiness assurance activity for emergent flight safety issues affecting Development aircraft, resulting in the issue of Flight Safety Procedures (Additional Flight Limitations/Flight Safety Messages) to BAES Partner Companies and their operatorscontinuous development of BAE Systems and flight certification and design certification processesand representing Airworthiness at Typhoon/Tornado/Hawk/FCAS project meetings, including support to external customer meetingswith Customers (internal and external) to agree delivery timescalesof tasking to suitably qualified and experienced individuals within the team and may have people responsibilities (PDR, career development plans, aspirations etc)with the Executive population (local department and Product Integrity discipline) to ensure availability of suitably qualified and experienced individuals within the teamwith Customers (internal and external) to agree delivery timescalesof tasking to suitably qualified and experienced individuals within the team and may have people responsibilities (PDR, career development plans, aspirations etc)with the Executive population (local department and Product Integrity discipline) to ensure availability of suitably qualified and experienced individuals within the teamYour skills and experiences:Avionic and Mechanical systems design and Aerodynamic disciplines knowledgeexperience within design configuration control processescertification (qualification and safety) and airworthiness processeswithin aircraft operations in a large organisationmethods to support establishing integrated aircraft level flight limitationsSynergize Consulting is committed to equality and diversity in our workplace.
