Senior Auditor Positions available at a leading 'Big 4' Accountancy Firm

We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior Auditors for multiple positions within a prestigious 'Big 4' accountancy firm in Leeds.

As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

You will work closely with engagement partners, managers, and a talented team of professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and professional standards.
Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance their financial processes and controls.
Guide and mentor junior team members, providing technical expertise, constructive feedback, and support to foster their professional growth.
Assess client's internal control systems, identify areas of risk, and develop effective audit plans to address those risks.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, identifying anomalies, trends, and potential areas of concern or improvement.
Prepare and review audit documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and firm's policies.
Ensure adherence to the firm's quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices, consistently delivering highquality audit services to clients.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop and implement innovative audit approaches, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies.
Effectively manage multiple engagements, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and provide regular status updates to engagement partners and managers.

Qualifications:

Hold a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA.
Extensive experience working as an Auditor, preferably in an accounting firm.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of auditing and accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proven experience in effectively leading and managing audit engagements, as well as mentoring and developing junior team members.
Display strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients and team members.
Exhibit strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders.
Thrive in a fastpaced and demanding environment, demonstrating flexibility, resilience, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools is desirable.
